《Fundamentals of Signal Processing for Sound and Vibration Engineers》
This book is based on the lecture notes given in ISVR, University of Southampton, UK and taught by Professor J. K. Hammond. From his many years of experience in teaching this subject, basic and essential material is abstracted especially for sound and vibration engineers. This reference book is concise and focuses on the fundamental aspects of signal processing so that readers may easily understand important features, and practice this theory through following the step by step explanations of the Matlab examples at the end of each chapter.
The book is split into two parts covering, in Part 1 deterministic signals, and in Part 2 random signals, giving clear understanding of their theory and application together with appropriate Matlab examples.Thus, this book may be ideal for beginners in this area who want to establish the foundation before proceeding to study further applied signal processing techniques.
